CAAM, the Center for Asian American Media, presents the Bay Area launch of Arthur Dong’s newest book Hollywood Chinese. The author will guide audiences on a visual tour of book highlights, followed by a Q & A . Special to the Bay Area are stories of trailblazing Chinese American filmmakers from Oakland and San Francisco who made their own films in the region starting from the silent era and into the 1940s. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
