In 1990, Arthur Dong was commissioned by Visual Communications to produced a documentary to mark their 20th anniversary. CLAIMING A VOICE: The Visual Communications Story will stream as part of Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival‘s Virtual Showcase, followed by a live online panel with editor Walt Louie, Dong,and moderator Abraham Ferrer. Free online streaming of the complete film is available starting May 1, 2020; panel is slated for May 4.
