The Chinese American Museum of Chicago is proud to host Arthur Dong in a virtual event celebrating his documentary and book Hollywood Chinese. This live “in-person” Zoom presentation by the filmmaker/author will feature a fascinating array of rare images and film clips that explore the portrayal of the Chinese in movies and their impact on the film industry. The Hollywood Chinese documentary will also be available for screening before the discussion; registrants receive a discount code to stream the film for $1. FREE, but registration is required.
