A rousing crowd greeted James Hong as he was feted at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures series, Hollywood Chinese: The First 100 Years. Bernardo Rondeau, Senior Director of Film Programs, introduced the evening, and guest programmer Arthur Dong moderated a conversation with Hong and Big Trouble in Little China cast members Dennis Dun and Peter Kwong. Other cast members in attendance were Lia Chang, Gerald Okamura, Rhonda Wong, and Jocelyn Lew. The tribute featured screenings of Big Trouble in Little China and Black Widow.
